Sean Corea Executive Chef
Sean grew up locally in Dover, Delaware where he worked at T.A. Farms. He began his restaurant career as a dishwasher at the popular Dogfish Head Restaurant and Brewery. After getting a taste of the hospitality industry and developing a love for the local food influences in the area, he attended the Culinary Institute of America at Hyde Park. He worked for some time at the renowned Restaurant Daniel in New York City and then returned to the Delaware Beaches to work at the late Espuma in Rehoboth.
He later joined the team at Nage and has stayed through its transition to Fork + Flask, which is much more his style. He describes his style of cooking as contemporary cuisine with a large French and Italian influence. Sean enjoys working with fresh fish and local farms to create the perfect dish—particularly fresh sweet corn, which probably stems from his days back on the farm.

I love hospitality because… Of the guest interaction, making people smile, watching people’s reaction to trying new things, and building relationships with the guests. I also love the fast pace and the fact that everyday is different.
Something to know: I have an identical twin who is also local, so if you see me and I don’t say hi, it’s because it’s not me.

I Love hospitality because… I’ve always been a charismatic person, and when I took my first job as a bartender, I naturally fell in love. Bartending is performance, and I like to think of it as a stage. The social aspect is one of the most valuable perks because a bar brings together people from all walks of life. Combine that with the rapidly growing craft cocktail movement, and you have one of the most unique and challenging professions. Every day is a chance to build relationships, knowledge and technique.
Something to know: I am an identical twin!

Favorite food: I love fresh simple food; summer in Sussex is the best with all the local farm products we have here available. Grilling on the back deck with friends and good wine (or cheap beer) is my favorite way to relax.
I love hospitality because… There is no better job than making people happy every weekend. I love the big hugs from our couples and parents after a successful wedding celebration.
Something to know: I love the ocean—everything about it. The power of the tides, the sound of the waves, the vastness of the seas. Summer or winter, it doesn’t matter; I try to see the water every day. I strongly believe that salt water fixes everything.

Favorite food: A big juicy steak—medium rare, with mushrooms and mashed potatoes. Getting hungry just thinking about it!
I love hospitality because.. Anyone that knows me, knows that I can’t stay still. I love the fast pace and challenging environment that restaurants provide, as well as the opportunity to meet and interact with all kinds of people. I love going out and enjoying great food and drinks, so being able to provide that kind of experience for others is extremely rewarding.
Something to know: I have an obsession with everything hedgehog, and my house is riddled with them. Last December, my family came to visit and my brother asked my niece to count to how many hedgehogs she could find. She found 42 just in the living room. 42. Which, I have heard, is the meaning of life.
